What is global Answers about? Answer: global Answers is a portal that has been designed to provide you with the opportunity to ask and answer question, finding the answers to which would take you too long the traditional way. global Answers is also a community of people who's desire for answers to various questions has led them to ask it in a forum where they can talk about and discuss a variety of topics with others.  
What are the guidelines that govern my behavior when using global Answers? Answer: While everyone else gives you a list of do's and don'ts for using their site, all we are going to ask of you is to not offend others, refrain from using foul language, don't hurt others sentiments, ask proper questions and, last but not the least, ensure that your answers are relevant to the questions asked.  
I am looking for a particular question, how do I do that? Answer: If it is something specific that you are looking for then feel free to use our search option. It is available on all pages and will be able to point you in the right direction. In case you do not find what you are looking for you can also submit that question to the site.  
What is reporting abuse? Answer: In case you across a question or an answer while surfing through global Answers, that you feel is not in accordance with our policies or is offensive in any way, then you can let us know by clicking on the "Report Abuse" button. Once you have done that, we will look into the question/answer and see if we can help in any way.  
I don't like a particular question/answer. How do I remove it from the site? Answer: If you find some question or answer to be in bad taste then you can "Report Abuse" on it. Our moderators will take your report into consideration while making a decision on that question or answer. Please note that the decision made and the action taken on such questions/answers will be at our sole discretion.  
Under what conditions would global Answers remove or delete a question or an answer? Answer: The conditions under which we reserve the right to remove or delete a question/answer are:
1.If the question/answer are offensive and contribute to offending other users
2.If the question is framed in a way that makes no sense or is not adding to the knowledge pool of the site. Ex: What should I wear today? Or what does the colour red look like?
3.If the answer constitutes to spam. This means that if we find the answer adds no value to the question and has been put for the express purpose of providing links to sites that may hold the answer.
4.If the question/answer contains foul language or profanity in its content. Writing answers that are offensive to the beliefs of others will also stand a good chance of being deleted.  
How do I indicate that an answer or a question that is really good? Answer: For all questions and answers we have provided a voting option. If you like a question or an answer then you can vote for it. Please note that you can vote only once for each question or answer.  
How do I post a Question? Answer: To post a question you will need to log into your account and then go to "Ask a Question" in your profile. In case you are already logged in, you can submit a question at any time by just entering it in the space provided on the left hand side of each page. Once you reach the submit form for questions, make sure that you enter correct information in all the fields. This helps us speed up the approval process.  
Can I add more info to the questions I ask? Answer: Yes you can. All you need to do is to enter a description to the question in the field marked "Description" on the Ask a Question page. Adding a description is not a rule but we promote it as a healthy practice since it helps other users better understand your question and provide more accurate answers.  
What guidelines should I follow when posting a question? Answer: Though you are free to post almost any question there are a few things that you should keep in mind when posting a question:
1.Try not to ask a question that has already been asked. You can ensure this by simply searching our site for the question you intend on asking.
2.Make sure that you post your question under the correct category. This helps us process questions faster.
3.Avoid asking questions related to topics that could hurt anyone's sentiments (religious, political, etc).
4.Enter your question and then, if possible, enter a description of the question so that others may understand what you are trying to ask.  
I posted a question but it is not showing up on the site. Answer: If you have already submitted the question then please be patient. Since we moderate all questions and answers, it may take us a while to get the questions approved. In case your question has still not appeared on the site then please feel free to write in to us.  
How many questions can I ask? Answer: We place no limit on the number of questions that you can ask. As long as your questions conform to our guidelines, you can keep posting them.  
Can I choose where to post my question? Answer: When you enter the details in the form to enter your question, you will also be given a choice to choose a category for your question. If you are not sure of the category, then you can choose "Others" and our moderators will help choose the category. Please note that if you submit questions under the wrong category then it will cause a delay in the approval so, for your benefit, we urge you to choose the right categories.  
Can I remove a question that I asked, once it's posted? Answer: As such we do not permit the deletion of questions, especially once they are posted and have been answered. However, if you do wish to have a question deleted feel free to mail us about it and our moderators will look into the issue. Please understand that honouring the request for deletion of a question will be based on our discretion only.  
How long should the answers that I give be? Answer: We do not place any word limit on the size of the answers you give. We only request you not to copy your answers from any other website or give answers that are not relevant to the question.  
I chose the wrong category for my question. Does this mean my question won't be published? Answer: Fear not, we don't refuse questions just because you posted them under the wrong category. We would however urge you to do your best to select the right categories as it speeds up the approval process.  
What kinds of questions are not allowed on the site? Answer: We request users not to ask questions that can offend any other user's personal, political or religious beliefs. Questions that don't add any value to the knowledge base are also discouraged. An example of such questions would be: "How do I look today?" "Are apples tasty?" "What should I wear today?"  
How do I post an answer? Answer: If you wish to post an answer then all you need to do is select a question and click on the answer now button. If you are already viewing the question, you can scroll down the page till you reach the "Answer as a Guest" box. Once there you will need to enter your name, a valid email id and your answer. You don't have to be a member to be able to answer questions on global Answers. Please remember that all three are mandatory fields and will need to be filled. In case you are a member and are already logged in then you won't be required to enter email addresses and names. You can submit your answer immediately.  
What guidelines should I follow when posting an answer? Answer: The guidelines that you need to follow while posting answers on global Answers are very simple.
1.Ensure that the answer you post is relevant to the question asked
2.Try to ensure that your answer is not simply restating what others have already said
3.Make sure that the answer provides accurate information
4.Please DO NOT copy content from other websites and paste it as the answer
5.If you have referenced other websites, please provide the links to those sources
6.Refrain from personal attacks on peoples beliefs and be sensitive to others while answering
7.Avoid using profanity or abusive language in your answers  
I posted an answer but it's not showing on the site. Answer: If you have already posted an answer and it has not shown up on the site till now then it is possible that the answer is awaiting moderation. At times when the flow of answers is heave, it might take some time. Rest assured that we will look at all answers in due course of time. Sometimes it may be so that your answer does not follow our guidelines for answering questions and might not be approved by the moderator. If this is the case you could check the answer you gave for any possible errors and re-submit the answer after correcting it to follow our guidelines.  
How many times can I answer a question? Answer: We place no restriction on how many times you choose to answer a question provided you don't abuse the facility by posting the same answer again and again or provide answers that don't answer the question and can be considered as spam.  
My answer does not appear as soon as I post it. Why? Answer: Since we moderate all questions and answers that are posted on the site, it might take some time before our moderators can look at your answer and approve it for publication on the site. We request you to please bear with us since we are doing this to improve your user experience.  
Can I remove an answer that I wrote, once it's posted? Answer: As is the case with questions, so is the case with answers. We do not encourage deletion of answers once they are posted. If you do wish to have an answer removed then you can mail us and our moderators will look into your request. Once again the decision to delete the answers will be made at our discretion.  
What kinds of answers are not allowed? Answer: We discourage answers that do not conform to our guidelines. We also reserve the right to deny publication to answers that contain abusive language, irrelevant information and unwelcome opinions about other people's personal beliefs.  
How do I register? Answer: To register all you have to do is to click on the "Register" button on the top right hand side of the page. Once there all you need to do is to enter valid information in the fields indicated and click on submit. We have kept our registration process short and sweet so that you don't have to fill out LENGTHY forms just to create an account with us. When you answer a question, you will be provided with a facility to choose a password for yourself. This amounts to registering with us. Once you have entered a valid password then you will be able to continue answering questions and maybe even as a few yourself.  
Why do I have to register? Answer: It's a very valid question and the answer is that there are numerous advantages to registering with us; such as:

How do I know that you won't misuse my personal details? Answer: According to our privacy policy we do not share any personal details regarding our member with anyone for any reason.  
I forgot my password. What should I do? Answer:  To recover your password:
1.Click on "Unable to access my account" on the log in page.
2.You will be asked to submit an email id. Ensure that you enter the same id you used to register with.
3.Once you enter the email address you will receive a link with the reset link in it. Click on this link.
4.You will now receive a mail with the user id and a password generated by us. You can use this to log into your account.
