i want to follow my dreams even though it’s not possible in india always. traveling is my passion and i aspire to be a pilot because of my passion. i’ve decided to join one of the aviation academies and i would like to know about 3 different types of pilot licenses in india.
If you want to become a pilot you need to join a course in recognized institute which teach all the basics about the flight and also teaches you to handle a flight. Initially you will receive a student pilot license and if you successfully clear all your exams you will be given other licenses such as commercial pilot license or private pilot license.
Attested medical certificate is required in order to acquire Pilot’s license. Courses or training is offered to grant the four pilot licenses mentioned above.
Commercial Pilot License: Sixty days course is conducted to grant this license and 16 years is the age limit.
Private Pilot License: Six months course is conducted for PPL (Private Pilot License) and 17 years is the age limit.
Students Pilot License: A month’s training is required for SPL (Students Pilot License) and 16 years is the age limit.
Air Force Pilot License: This license is approved by the flying institute at which the candidate is getting trained.
Strong background in Physics and Mathematics are needed to enroll yourself in aviation academy. Pilot licenses in India are of four types namely
